Facility
The Royal School Swimming Pool Complex also offers facilities and areas which are unrelated to swimming. There is a Gymnasium, Dance Studio, Astro Pitch, Seminar Room and a Cafeteria on site which are all available for external hire.
We work closely with local clubs to help deliver a variety of classes and activities to our local community. Further information on each of these groups is available by contacting us using the enquiry form below.

Facilities for hire
Pool Parties
Book a Splash pool party with a selection of floats, rings, goals and more. Pool parties are all 60 minute bookings and bather restrictions and guidelines apply;
Children age 8yrs+ may go into the pool unaccompanied. Children aged between 4 and 7 years must be accompanied by an adult on a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children. Children under 4 years must be accompanied on a ratio of 1 adult to 1 child.

Dance Studio
Located on the first floor of the swimming pool complex, a bright and spacious studio perfect for dance schools to run classes. This facility is also hired for examinations, workshops and parties.

Astro Pitch
The school’s full size floodlit astro-turf pitch is available to hire on evenings and weekends. This multi-use facility can be hired as a full or half pitch and comes with access to lockers, showers and changing facilities. Correct footwear must be worn on this surface. Cafeteria
Sit back and relax in our Splash café whilst children enjoy their swimming lessons or other activities taking place in the complex.
Our café offers a wide selection of snacks and drinks as well as breakfasts and sandwiches. Splash Café is open to all customers of the sports complex and operates Monday to Sunday during the LTS opening hours.
This facility is also available for parties and external functions. Free Wi-Fi available.
